Cost
All initial packages are charged at £400 payable in advance.
Subsequent casework is charged at £80 per hour invoiced in arrears.

Overview
Initial Case Review
This package includes:
- Our discussion time (not timed)
- My reading and research time – familiarisation with case documentation
- Verbal feedback and discussion of next steps
- A written report of the strengths and weaknesses of the case
OR
- A letter to the local authority (if this is more useful)
New EHC Plan (Quality check)
This is a comprehensive review of your child’s new Proposed EHC plan, cross referenced against professional advice to ensure that the plan accurately reflects that advice.
The package includes all discussion and reading time as well as a written report.
The written report will consider whether parental and child views are taken into account but will focus on the Sections of the EHC plan which can be appealed.
The written report will consider:
- are the child’s special educational needs accurately described in Section B
- is the correct provision to meet those needs made in Section F
- the named school in Section I
General recommendations and advice around relevant legislation will be provided as required.
Annual Review of EHC Plan
Advice prior to annual review meeting
A thorough review of your child’s current EHC plan before the annual review, cross referenced with updated advice reports where available. Advice will be tailored to address specific parental concerns and can be verbal or written.
Charged at £80 per hour.
Attendance at Annual Review meeting – remote

- travel time charged at £40 per hour and 45 per mile
‘Health check’ following Annual Review
This is a comprehensive ‘health check’ of your child’s EHC plan following annual review, cross referencing the Proposed Amended EHC plan against:
- updated statutory advice
- available professional reports obtained within the last 12 months
- review recommendations sent by the school/setting to the local authority following the review meeting
Subsequent casework charged at £80 per hour.
Tribunal Charges
Registration of Appeal – £1600
this includes all preparation time, completion of Form SEND 35, a written parental case statement, collation of appendices, registration of the appeal with the SEND Tribunal and a summary of registration documents received from the tribunal for parents.
Tribunal Case Management (administrative) – £80 per hour
- this includes ongoing case direction,
Tribunal Case Management (direct tribunal work) – £120 per hour
this includes preparing a late evidence statement, witness preparation, and case management review with the judge (if requested by the tribunal)
Any work will be agreed with you in advance in blocks of 2-4 hours.
Representation at Hearing – starting at £160 per hour
prices will increase if the local authority has legal representation
